Rubber hose consists of three layers. Inner layer or Core is made of Synthetic rubber which will be reinforced with single , double or multiple braids of steel wire or fibres and Outer layer or cover made of synthetic rubber.

Silicone hoses have superior flexibility to rubber hoses and has greater resistance to heat and are more durable for certain applications.
